man.. this dude spent a lot of money on the whole electric convertion but he don´t improved basic things? (radio, seat belts, hidraulic direction), don´t get me wrong, I respect Jehu a lot, and his convertion to electric is awesome, but man.. you have to modify that direction system, is heavy and unconfortable as fuck, I modifyed my direction, not hidraulic, but is way more light, it changes a lot the experience of driving the bus.

How is that cheap? Donor vehicle is worth a lot. Those things go for silly money.

I find it interesting that you spend a bunch of money to add a tablet, but no seatbelts.

Why can't anybody figure out as you drive an electric vehicle , that is discharging , figure out how to continuous re charge the batteries, that will allow a vehicle be its own power source. I recall the earlier VWagons using generators, evolved to Alternators to keep the battery charged. So a circle is a circle, a tire is a tire. So I am just thinking 4 wheels spinning why hasn't anybody used the source of wheels as movement to generate electricity directly to electrical motor . Or continuously recharge the storage batteries, would that not solve the problems what is occurring today with electrical cars requiring to recharge there batteries after so many kms/ miles. Each individual wheel assembly in motion would behave like I said Alternator/ generator creating a self charging perpetual electric vehicle . So everybody I am just wondering why/ or what is preventing engineer's from there concept, motion creating electricity . I am just a normal guy thinking outside the box, it seems like common sense to me . Please can anybody advise me why this cannot happen .

I used to own the same 1960 with wrap arounds It was all original with a 45 hp motor and even the bars in windows were polished all the window seals were replaced and it was put in a barn with sheets over it. I paid $400 for the van. ( that’s all we were paying in 1980 they were wanted ) a couple of years later that same van was selling for $5000 ( I sold mine 6 months later for $850 and I thought I made a deal of life time. It’s a death trap. Lol
